Soulfood Music (2012)

A Swedish power hard rock trio, Fourever consists of two sisters Mia and Nina Moilanan (the former on vocals and guitar, the latter on drums) and Maja Persson on bass. Playing in bands for 12 years, Fourever finally unleashes their debut 10 song album “Solitarium” that relies on well-worn conventional riff hooks, transitions you can hear coming weeks ahead and performances that one would expect from a younger, inexperienced act.

The chorus harmonies during “Me, Myself And I” and “Solitary (Never Meant To Be)” give hope to the cause, but the predictable stop/ start drumming and clichés don’t separate Fourever from their male or female counterparts. “Solitarium” will not elevate Fourever beyond opening bar band status.
