World Terror Committee (2011)
I do like their demos but also appreciate their newer approach which reminds me a lot of Ascension's "Consolamentum". Brilliant artwork (all artworks and logo designed by amazing Metastazis), interesting lyrical themes and well written compositions played with a lot of passion. Their depiction of majestic tracks such as "The Sins of Father", "The Whited Sepulchre" and "Divinity Construct" has always been outstanding. But "Inverse" is something far and beyond anything they have done before.
"Inverse" features seven compositions that run nearly 50 min. This is definitely a bright start of Order Of Orias. The second track "Irreverence" is flawless. A miserable spectre of endless irreverence. The pronunciations of the lyrics do not go haywire during vocals vocalization. Next come is "Offering". It starts with a guitar chord joining with drums and bass. Then the riffs develop by the distorted guitar and massive vocals. It’s offering an aural delight to my ears for seven minutes. A. Spencer shows his vocal versatility, halle fucking lujah Christ cunt hallelujah. Next come "Ash and Sparks". It burns in me. The bass work on this track is incredible and high-pitched vocals make it more amazing. Brighter brighter brighter on towards the sinister fire…
The band has accountability to make a strong album like this. Actually I was really looking forward to their debut album because these Australian lads already showed a lot of promise through their first two releases. The addition of philosophical and intellectual vision of the band is very enriching.
“Inverse” clearly unleashed the band’s maturity as extremly skilful musicians. My personal favorite from the record is "Bleak One". It’s one hell of a track and it's more uncompromising than anything on OoO’s music circle of horizon. The guitar leads executed on this album are majestic. This turns to another timeless gem from the Australian metal hub. The curtains come down on this CD with majestic "Void". The brief patterns of music portrayal have a fine sense of proportion to match the length of the songs and deserve appreciation. Australian metal scene has a more sepulchral, atmospheric and cavernous sounds that is always unique and highly influential.
The year 2011 went by quite fast and turned out awesome for metal. This is another fine release from World Terror Committee and it’s recommended for all the fans of Ascension from Germany and The Secrets of the Moon.
